Otherness, Ethics, Education COVID-19Abstract
This article, based on theoretical research, presents themes of otherness, ethic and informal education evidenced in this period of pandemic. The argumentative treatment given to the questions aims to broaden the understanding of COVID-19’s everyday experiences in relation to the worldview and the dimension of human existence, anchored in elements of otherness according Levinas and in Kant’s rationality. Thus, the methodological approach adopted relates the facts to the authors’ thoughts, establishing a form of dialogue with the reality. The study concludes with the belief that the path of humanity can be changed by adopting another path in the practice and in the ethical guidelines for the preservation of life on the planet and human nature.
