Abstract

Through the utilization of concepts of purity and danger, as proposted by Mary Douglas, the author suggests a reflection about the relation between order and disorder. The contemporary civilization freneticaly persecuted the control and the dominion of any kind of danger. The society pretended to discipline not just mankind, but all things that were out of place. This pretension, nevertheless, presented itself ineffective.
