Abstract

What are we talking about? What is Acuífero Iberá? What is the social construction around it? Acuífero Iberá is one of the largest areas of humid land of sweet water, comprised of lagoons, swamps, pounds, etc, and it occupies 15% of the land of Correntes´s province. The colony Carlos Pellegrini is the primary door. There are foreign interests over “our Acuífero Iberá” that are able to impose their model without questionings, based on a repressive, interventive, and recolonizing project for Latin America. The approach of this theme perpasses a intimate need as a subject of rights, as part of humanity and as homo sapiens who interacts with others and by a ethical political compromisse that I have as a social worker in defense of the vulnerable rights of compatriots who live in a place, convoking to participate in the fight of the first people and countryside organizations against the poisoning of Acuífero Iberá.
