Transformations in a capitalist state: reflecting and refracting transformations in social issue

Abstract

This article makes a literature review of Social Work about the social question. It refers to the current discussion about the existence of a “new social question”, originated by changes through what the capitalist society is crossed out, since the last thirty years. The text aims demonstrate that besides theses changes, the origin of social question is still the same: the inherent contradiction of the capitalist system and the exploitation of on class over the other.
