Social program’s evaluation: quantitative approaches and its limitations

Abstract

The present text tries to make a revision of the main quantitative brouches found in the specialized literature to undertake evaluations of social programs and to characterize the importance of those activities for the improvement of the planning processes and of implementation of social politics. Plus, has as complemental purpose to accomplish a brief discussion about the technical and conceptual limitations of such brouches to represent the complexity of the social phenomenons appropriately.
