Um olhar complexo e pós-moderno à morte do papa João Paulo II e à posse de Barack Obama
Abstract
Dia 2 de abril de 2005. O mundo se vê diante de um acontecimento: a morte de Karol Wojtyla. Dono do terceiro maior pontificado de todos os tempos, João Paulo II faleceu aos 84 anos de idade. Sua morte desencadeou cenas nunca antes testemunhadas na história e um mar de pessoas desembarcou em Roma para dar adeus ao papa polonês. Dia 20 de janeiro de 2009. Esse mesmo mundo se vê diante de outro acontecimento: a posse do primeiro presidente negro dos Estados Unidos, Barack Obama. A cerimônia teve uma audiência recorde, sendo acompanhada presencialmente por 2 milhões de pessoas, num evento sem precedentes. O que moveu toda essa legião, seja na morte do papa, seja na posse de Obama? Neste trabalho, as obras de Edgar Morin, Michel Maffesoli e Jean Baudrillard serão usadas para tentar responder à questão.Downloads
