Initially, this text concerns the nexus between literature and hypertext as processes of reading and writing in the works of Italo Calvino. According to Pierre Levy, hypertext can be understood as a metaphor for the production of meaning. Following Levy, this paper applies hypertext as a conceptual and methodological operator to Calvino’s work. Afterwards, we analyse his participation in the OULIPO, in addition to the relationship between hypertext and combinatorics.Downloads
