Abstract

Aphasia is a language disorder that is caused by lesions of the central nervous system by Stroke (AVEs) Skull and Brain Injuries, which compromises the ability of speaking, writing and comprehension. The deixis is a figure of speech, used as a way to show, indicate, in demonstrative function. This research deals with a qualitative, observational, cross-sectional, descriptive, interpretive. This study raises the occurrence and analyzes the processes deictic referencing in this discourse Group Coexistence of Aphasic (GCA), identifying, sorting and checking processes deictics. We used transcripts of the weekly meetings of a support group, from August 2011 to July 2012. The data were analyzed in light of the assumptions of socio-cognitive interactionism.
