The stigmatisation of the female gender in A hora da estrela: a criminologic reflection about the violence against women

This analysis deals with the relations among genders and the historic degradation of women from the literary work A hora da estrela, by Clarice Lispector, demonstrating the strong link among literature and law. Through the situations experienced on the fictitious world by the main character Macabéa, stands a debate whose central focus is the analysis of the being and the circumstances in which they live, originating mobilizations for the conquest of social transformations in constant evolutionary process. Making a link between interdisciplinary effort and Legal Sociology and Criminology, presents an analysis of the feminist right (Feminist Legal Theory) that contracts with a patriarchal culture in a dualist thinking system, exposing the problem of the effectiveness of social standards. Therefore, while seeking to spread the awareness and collective mobilization in the interest of the consolidation of equal rights.Downloads
