Teoria do capital humano: uma análise do caso brasileiro

Este trabalho estuda o papel do capital humano no desenvolvimento brasileiro, incorporando o debate sobre distribuição de renda no país nas décadas de 1970 a 1990. A contextualização histórica foi construída com dados sobre o crescimento do produto interno bruto, distribuição de renda e educação formal. Abordou-se a teoria do capital humano nas visões de Theodore Schultz e de Gary Becker, que partiram da abordagem neoclássica da remuneração dos fatores segundo sua produtividade. Discutiram-se as críticas de Gaudêncio Frigotto e de Márcio Pochmann. Conclui-se que se pode melhorar a distribuição de renda, no longo prazo, com maiores investimentos em educação, associados com outras políticas, como tributação progressiva, investimentos em saúde, habitação e saneamento básico. Essas políticas serão ainda mais efetivas ao gerarem maiores taxas de crescimento econômico.Downloads
