Abstract
SUMMARY
The antimicrobial action of different intracanal medicaments was evaluated in vitro against one facultative anaerobic bacteria, the Enterococcos faecalis (ATCC 29212). For purpose to study was utilized the calcium hydroxide with propilenoglicol, calcium hydroxide with camphorated paramonochlorophenol (CPMC) and propilenoglicol, Calen past, Calen past with CPMC, calcium hydroxide with Iodoform and propilenoglicol, Iodoform and propilenoglicol, and to finish, calcium hydroxide with anesthetic. As results, the presence of inhibition halos was verified for the Iodoform with propilenoglicol and, the association calcium hydroxide, CPMC and propilenoglicol. To the others medicaments evaluated wasn’t verified the presence of inhibition halos.
UNITERMS: calcium hydroxide, iodoform, endodontic.
