Training and emancipation: a possible link
Abstract
This article brings about some discussions regarding emancipatory processes grounded by Gramsci’s theory and its relevance for training people to be councilors in social politics. In this sense, it discusses some emancipatory dimensions that can be finding in the training process of councilors. In addition, the article shows the importance of the training courses as a way to improve the empowerment of councilors. The idea is to produce emancipatory practices from common sense to critical perception as a strategy to achieve new patterns of social and political counseling in Brazil.Key-words – Emancipation.
