Abstract

The present article aims to present an analysis of the scientific production on migration processes induced by disasters or extreme weather events, in order to identify the factors associated with this context. To achieve the proposed objective, a literature review was conducted using the Scopus and Scielo databases. The exponential increase in disasters and extreme events has repercussions that vary according to context and territory, with migration induction being one such repercussion. It is hoped that this article will stimulate further research, studies, and investigations, involving different social actors in the pursuit of greater understanding of such an important topic.
