The art as a raw material and work tool for the social worker

Abstract

The present article presents reflections about art as a form of expression of social worker’s raw data to the extent that the subjects use different manners to express the refractions of social issue in their lives, among them the artistic productions that characterize their contexts and historical time. Concurrently, it seeks to make visible the use of art as a pedagogic tool, from which reflexive social processes could be mediated, contributing to organized and educational actions that characterize and emancipatory social intervention.
