Abstract

In this article, it is presented the discussion of permanent education as a challenge for Social Work towards the configurations of contemporary society marked by excluding political and economic projects that demand for the social worker the qualification of his/her education. It is emphasized the work as a privileged space for professional education. Results, in a synthetic way, that, in order to face the demands that are on place, and mainly, the consolidation of the ethical and political project of the profession we need to build sharing spaces of critical reflection about the work process of social workers.
