Abstract

This article presents the societies context ruled by logic capitalism, scenery where the world of work transformations happen, emphasizing the phenomenon that has been occurring, which is we talk increasingly more about employment than about work. It also be discussed maximum relevance and exaltation conferred to work in occidental society, giving to worker role a distinction place among social role representatives of the I. Themes such as the technical work division in capitalist society and the alienation resulting from such process, articulation between identity and work, and expressiveness of the last in the constitution of me, help to make up actual reflexion.
