The Place of identity and differences in social relations

Abstract

To have an identity is synonymous of an identification with what it is established in the culture and the social environment. In this line of thought if it disrespects the proper movement of the diversity that transform the reality from the proper condition of the differences. In the differences they are the propulsion to the development of the new forms of interaction between citizen and its half one. In many circumstances the identity notion has served to create distinctions of life conditions at the same time where it propitiates not the recognition of the individual distinctions. The condition of preconception and segregation that live, for times, the disabled person is emblematic of the result of the relation between identity and difference in a society that cousin for the standard of “normality”. The people with deficiency for if not fitting in a process of equal identification to the standard are placed in a social place of differentiation. The social representation of this place of differentiation becomes synonymous of impossibility of the proper exercise the life of the beings.
