Familismo, reprodução social e modelos de proteção social no mundo

O presente artigo tem como objetivo refletir sobre modelos de proteção social constituídos em várias partes do mundo, visando compreender a relação que eles estabelecem com a família e se as políticas ofertadas possibilitam o alívio dos encargos e das responsabilidades familiares. Trata-se de pesquisa bibliográfica, qualitativa, analisada a partir da técnica da análise de conteúdo. Os principais resultados demonstram a tendência mundial do familismo como parte da estratégia de reprodução ampliada do capital, a partir de particularidades e realidades locais. Portanto, enfatiza a responsabilidade em garantir o bem-estar social dos indivíduos pelas próprias famílias, mesmo sem condições para desempenharem essas atribuições, diante da sobrecarga das mulheres, do desmonte das políticas sociais e das profundas mudanças no mundo do trabalho.
