FORMAÇÃO DO CAMPO AUDIOVISUAL BRASILEIRO: REFLEXÕES SOBRE A RELAÇÃO ENTRE CINEMA E TELEVISÃO NO BRASIL
Abstract
Os estudos sobre audiovisual no Brasil privilegiaram e reforçaram os lugares rígidos de distinções entre cinema e televisão. A presente investigação faz uma revisão deste processo de afastamento dos meios, considerando as disputas, os posicionamentos dos agentes e as negociações que atravessaram a história do audiovisual nacional. Apesar de distintivamente separados, houve importantes momentos de contatos entre cinema e televisão no país, que nos anos 2000 vão ser cada vez mais estimulados pela indústria audiovisual diante da tendência mundial da convergência cultural. O audiovisual nacional contemporâneo irá transitar entre continuidades históricas e tendências internacionais, apontando um processo de reorganização do campo no qual as fronteiras e lugares de distinções historicamente demarcados se movem.
