Jogos Olímpicos de 2016: a celebração do "viver junto" nos filmes feitos para a candidatura do Rio de Janeiro

O artigo tem como principais objetivos apresentar e discutir as imagens divulgadas pelos vídeos realizados pela produtora O2 Filmes que fizeram parte da campanha do Comitê Olímpico Brasileiro (COB) para divulgar a candidatura da cidade do Rio de Janeiro aos Jogos Olímpicos e Paralímpicos de Verão de 2016. As produções analisadas foram veiculadas na 121ª Sessão do COI em outubro de 2009 em Copenhague, na Dinamarca. Os vídeos Unity e Celebration conseguiram explorar as possibilidades tecnológicas para representar os símbolos nacionais e os valores olímpicos, provocando nos espectadores o desejo de “viver junto” (Barthes, 2003) a Olímpiada no Rio em 2016.
