A fórmula de Michel Vaillant: Realismo e Ligne Claire nas Histórias em Quadrinhos de Automobilismo

O presente artigo deseja observar como a história em quadrinhos sobre automobilismo, notadamente a do personagem Michel Vaillant, consegue engendrar, em sua narrativa, mecanismos de realismo através de sua forma gráfica. Utilizando-se o arcabouço teórico de David Bordwell e Jean-Louis Baudry acerca das narrativas visuais, o objetivo aqui é refletir acerca desse exercício de estilo (através do estilo franco-belga da Ligne Claire) e fórmula (o realismo), bem como desvelar as estratégias do dispositivo midiático das HQs, que faz Michel Vaillant ser reconhecido enquanto uma leitura do automobilismo referencial, possibilitando a relação de Vaillant com personagens do “mundo real” do automobilismo.References
