Keywords:
Social network. Virtual communities. Interaction.Abstract
Social networks are relevant on the study of the interaction in the cyberspace. These systems allow interaction and cooperation between the users, so it’s possible to develop networks and content which can be applied to the user’s daily life. We have done a survey in six ORKUT communities. The objective was to study the user’s perception about the interaction in the community. We’ve found seven factors which consider: user’s pro-activity, perception about the content creation in the communities, perception of content’s relevance for the daily life and professional/ scholar life, relations’ projection from the virtual to face to face environment, web site evaluation and networking creation. The cluster analysis found four groups of users: group one has low interaction, group two has high interaction and projects their relations from the web to face to face environment, group three has high interaction and better perception about the relevance of the community for professional context and group four has intermediate interaction level.Downloads
