Divisão regional do desenvolvimento humano no Mato Grosso do Sul: uma aplicação da análise de cluster

With an exploratory viewpoint, this paper has as general objective of studying the regional division of human development inside of Mato Grosso do Sul State, using data from the Atlas of Human Development. Therein, it was possible to describe the main regional aspects of the sul-matogrossense human development. In general, it was observed that the municipal districts of the West of the State are in a worse situation, specially negatively those located in the South West and Pantanal. On the other hand, the East of Mato Grosso do Sul can be considered the most developed area of the State, followed by the North Center.Downloads
