Argentina: crise e ressurreição

Abstract

Este trabalho analisa a economia argentina desde 1999, quando terminou o governo Carlos Menem e o país passou por uma severa crise econômica que substituiu o modelo neoliberal então vigente. Ele também avalia as condições que permitiram a recuperação econômica no governo de Nestor Kirchner. Conclui-se que a desvalorização cambial e a redução dos juros domésticos foram os principais fatores da recuperação da economia e do rápido crescimento econômico posterior. Entretanto, o país ainda precisa avançar na regulação econômica e na legislação que trata dos serviços privatizados para evitar conflitos com o setor privado. Palavras-chave: Argentina.
