Resumo

Este artigo analisa criticamente as políticas migratórias da União Europeia após a crise de 2015, com foco na reinterpretação do princípio da solidariedade e na crescente securitização da migração. De natureza qualitativa, a pesquisa fundamenta-se em revisão crítica da literatura especializada e na análise de documentos institucionais da União Europeia, a fim de compreender as tensões entre soberania, segurança e responsabilidade compartilhada. Examina o papel da Frontex, a externalização das fronteiras e as condições nos centros de acolhimento, destacando como o discurso da segurança tem redefinido os fundamentos normativos da União. Argumenta-se que, ao priorizar a contenção e o controle, a governança migratória europeia reproduz hierarquias históricas e fragiliza a proteção de direitos.

Doutorando em Ciências Políticas, Relações Internacionais e Direitos Humanos na Universidade de Évora (Portugal). Sua pesquisa investiga como a União Europeia reconfigura seus compromissos normativos em direitos humanos diante de imperativos geopolíticos, com ênfase na governança migratória, solidariedade e securitização.
