Abstract

The study attempts to approximate queer theories to the critical perspectives in criminal law and criminological theories by analyzing the possibilities and implications of a queer criminology. The proposition of an open criminological thought that dialogues with queer theories aims at building a qualified perspective which is aware of diversity, concerned with human rights and, above all, non-discriminating towards the (positive and negative) political demands of social movements represented by gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transsexuals.
