Abstract


O exame minucioso dos síntipos de Trechalea aurantia Mello-Leitão, 1942, revelou que esta pertencia a gênero Hesydrus Simon, 1898. Neste trabalho a espécie é transferida, redescrita e registrada para uma nova localidade da Bolívia. São designados lectótipo e paralectótipo para esta espécie.

ABSTRACT
Redescription of Hesydrus aurantius comb. n. (Araneae, Lycosoidea, Trechaleidae)
The examine of the syntypes of Trechalea aurantia Mello-Leitão, 1942 reveals that this belongs to the genus Hesydrus Simon, 1898. In this work the syntypes are redescribed and a new combination is made and a new distribution is noted for Bolivia. Lectotype and paralectotype are designated.
