Estudo exegético de três perícopes de Jeremias

Resumo

Este artigo faz um estudo comparativo de três perícopes do livro de Jeremias: 5,1-9; 5,20-29 e 9,1-8. Além de se encerrarem com o mesmo refrão, esses três textos partilham outros elementos: temáticas, vocabulário raro, expressões igualmente incomuns e recursos estilísticos com idênticas funções retóricas. O estudo aqui proposto tem como base a análise exegética. Após a exegese do refrão, passa-se a uma leitura sincrônica de cada perícope individualmente, para depois realizar o estudo comparado dos três textos, antes de analisar a colocação literária de cada um deles. A seguir, o artigo discute uma questão diacrônica, a saber: se os três textos seriam partes de um poema único, que teria sido desmembrado, uma vez que a atual composição deixa claro um esforço redacional para justificar a decisão divina de punir o povo eleito.
