Dossier “Technological and Cultural Changes in the Digital Age”

Famecos Journal is publishing this month the Dossier “Technological and Cultural Changes in the Digital Era”, proposed by the Visual Culture Working Group, of IAMCR- International Association for Media and Communication Research,  an homage for China, host of the IAMCR Beijing 2022 Conference. Two texts are by authors representing the host country: the text by Linuo Zhao, entitled “What is the Metaverse movie? Research on new digital arts and films” and the text by Dong An, entitled “Technology-oriented Virtual Production: Advantages and New Applications of Games in the Film Industry”. The Dossier includes researches on the subject, from different points of view, emphasizing what happened especially with the advent of the digital period that brought relevant changes in the technological and cultural areas of communication. The Dossier began to be released in the journal this month, with the hope that it will be fully published during the IAMCR-Beijing 2022 Conference, July 11-15.
