Peer Review Process

The evaluation process for this journal follows the peer review principals. Every study sent to PAJAR undergoes an initial assessment by the editors, considered minimum standards requirements and the standards of the journal. The manuscript is then sent to referees (reviewers) that evaluate the comments and suggestions for making changes and issue an opinion regarding approval for publication. The anonymity of authors and reviewers is maintained. The editors, in possession of the recommendations of the reviewers, will make the final decision. When modifications are suggested, they will be given for the authors to respond and the proofreaders will then check whether the requirements were met. Entries may be submitted for statistical revision when necessary. Items will be accepted taking into account originality, relevance and scientific contribution to the knowledge of the study area. The entire process, from submission to editorial decision, may be accompanied by the author electronically via the username and password provided at registration.
