Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.-
Letter of submission (cover letter): This should be signed by all the authors, taking responsibility for the original content of the work. It should contain a declaration of copyright transfer in case of acceptance of the work and the existence or not of a conflict of interest. The manuscript in whole or in part has not been submitted to another journal elsewhere.

Manuscript is formatted in accordance with the Instructions to Authors, found in the section "About” the journal. The submissions that are not in accordance with the guidelines will be returned.

The text files of the manuscript are written in Microsoft Word.

Main document file (manuscript): The text is double-spaced, in Arial 12, with tables, list of legends to figures and figures included at the end of the manuscript.

All URL addresses in the text (e.g., http://pkp.ubc.ca) are active.

Registration of the research protocol of studies in human subjects in Plataforma Brasil, SISNEP or equivalent document, when feasible, is sent as a supplementary file.

Individual files of the figuresare in TIF or JPEG format in high resolution (minimum: 600 dpi) and are sent individually as supplementary files.

All authors are required to provide a ICMJE Form for Disclosure of Potential Conflicts of Interest and should complete a standard form, which is available at. This form should be uploaded as a supplementary file (one for each author).

The submission of originals to Odonto Ciência implies the transfer by the authors of the right for publication. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication. If the authors wish to include the same data into another publication, they must cite Odonto Ciência as the site of original publication.
CREATIVE COMMONS LICENSE
As this journal is open access, the articles are allowed free use in scientific and educational applications, with citation of the source.
According to the type of Creative Commons License (CC-BY 4.0) adopted by Odonto Ciência, the user must respect the requirements below.
