The naturalized flora of Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil: subspontaneous herbaceous plants

Abstract

The present work is a contribution to the knowledge of the non-native and subspontaneous herbaceous species in Rio Grande do Sul State, Brazil. A revision of the terminology that includes the theme of the introduced plants is boarded, definitions are cited, as well as, a list of 270 herbaceous naturalized species (belonging to 52 families) in this State is presented, with their respective popular name, local of geographical origin and introduction way. Key words: introduced plants, ruderal plants, flora of Rio Grande do Sul.
